About
This project hosted by Worldwide International Global Solutions Ltd (WIGS) is a learning collaboration between Rooted, The Loss Project, Hospice UK and the wider WIGS network.
Together the partners will recruit 20 members from diverse backgrounds who would like to engage in a collaborative and creative exploration around the themes of loss in this time of COVID-19 that has demonstrated the need for society to discuss grief and expose social inequalities.
A small online group approach to storytelling and witnessing will be used, supporting members to engage in grief circles and peer research. Creating safe, supported spaces, leading to the co-creation of a collective audio archive of loss, collaborative film(s) and an online toolkit exploring a transformed future.
This content will be used as catalysts for future work with organisations across the UK (including Derbyshire, Camden and Lambeth Council) to support them to reflect on the challenge and possibility of COVID-19 and to create positive discourses around loss.
